Fairytale Grade 1 Success For Skyace

Skyace purchased by her trainer John 'Shark' Hanlon for just £600 at the 2019 Ascot November Sale provided her connections with a fairytale success when running out the winner of the Grade 1 Mares' Novices' Hurdle at Fairyhouse's Easter Grand National Meeting.

The daughter of Westerner has proved a revelation since joining her new connections and ran a blinder at the Cheltenham Festival on her previous start. Waited with in midfield under Jody McGarvey she challenged at the second last and sprinted clear of her rivals to win going away on Sunday and rates an extremely exciting Mare going forward.
