Grade 2 glory for Nautical Nitwit

The increase in quality on offer at Ascot Sales is clear for all to see and was again highlighted on Saturday by Nautical Nitwit's victory in the Grade 2 West Yorkshire Hurdle for trainer Philip Kirby. 

The in-form son of Let The Lion Roar was purchased by his current trainer for just £6,000 and now has career earnings of over £80,000.
