The Richard Hannon trained Wedding Date created a big impression when running out the impressive winner of the British Stallions Studs EBF Maiden Stakes at the Chester May Meeting for owners Middleham Park Racing CXIV.
The well named daughter of Ballyhane Stud resident Dandy Man is out of the Pivotal mare Fiancee and sprinted clear to win going away by 3 lengths under
Silvestre De Sousa.
She was offered at the inaugural Ascot Yearling Sale in September by David Hodge's Llety Farms and purchased by Peter and Ross Doyle for £24,000.
Inspections are well underway for this year's Ascot Yearling sale which will take place on Tuesday 11 September. This year's sale will have a unique starting letter 'S' and offers consignors the opportunity to sell in a one day stand alone sale where quality is key over quantity.
