Significant Growth At The Tattersalls Ireland Ascot November Sale
A top price of £40,000 and increases in the aggregate by 53%, the median by 44% and the average by 8% further complimented by an increased clearance rate of 67% was achieved at the Ascot November Sale earlier today.
Top honours went to Lot 91, the Kremlin Cottage Stables (Hugo Palmer) consigned Ettihadi. The son of Rip Van Winkle, lightly raced and placed this season, was bought by top National Hunt trainer Tim Vaughan and Select Racing Bloodstock for £40,000.
The eye-catching offering of Rightdownthemiddle, a three-time winning Oscarfrom Oristown House Stables (Lot 137) caught the attention of agent Tom Malone and trainer Gordon Elliott and they purchased the gelding for £35,000.
The ever-popular Godolphin draft witnessed 18 horses being sold at an average of £7,683 and an aggregate of £138,300. The highlight of the draft came as Lot 66 Etesian Flow; a Bated Breath filly who is a half-sister to Listed winner and Group 3 placed DON'T DILI DALI. She was knocked down to Colm Sharkey's CDS Bloodstock for £29,000.

To witness such considerable rises in the aggregate and median is hugely encouraging and we can now turn our attention to the Ascot December Sale on Monday 5 December."
