Strong returns from the first Select Session at Ascot March Sale
The first select session of Point to Pointers and Form Horses staged at the Ascot March sale returned a solid set of returns. A total of 19 select entries were catalogued with 15 selling for an aggregate of £502,000 with an average of £33,466. A top price of £70,000 was realised when Evan Williams struck for lot 120 Treasure Dillon. The 4yo son of Sans Frontieres was the impressive 6 length debut winner of his maiden at the weekend for Pierce Power. Wayfinder consigned by Warren Ewing's Bernice Stables runner up in the same maiden realised £60,000 when selling to Rebecca Curtis. Curtis was active throughout the select session signing for 3 lots in total.
