The catalogue for the Tattersalls Ascot November Sale, which takes place on Thursday 4th November, is now online and can viewed at www.tattersallsascot.com. The main catalogue numbers 99 Lots and comprises 27 Fillies in/out of Training, 57 Colts/Geldings in/out of Training, 4 Point to Pointers, 5 Yearlings and 6 Stores.
The Tattersalls Ascot November Sale, the first to be staged at Ascot racecourse since December 2019 due to Covid-19 restrictions, has been well supported with entries from leading stables including Bedford House, Beckhampton House, East Everleigh, Godolphin, Jackdaws Castle, Park House, Seven Barrows, Somerville Lodge, The Old Malthouse and West Ilsley.
Godolphin have consigned seven Lots including the well-bred KINGMAN filly KINGDOM GIRL, a placed sister to three black type performers including the Group 3 winning SPIRIT OF APPIN. LOCAL LAW, a three-year-old son of DUBAWI, should attract buyers attention having been placed over a 1m6f with a BHA rating of 72. The GOLDEN HORN gelding NEMEAN LION followed up on his win over 1m7f at Longchamp when returning to the same track to be placed second in Group 2, Prix Chaudenay. KOMACHI is a lightly raced winning son of KINGMAN, who was recently placed third in Class 2 Handicap in Newmarket, with a current BHA rating of 87.
Further entries of note include the two-time winning KODI BEAR gelding THE KODI KID, officially rated 86 following his recent third in a Chester handicap over 7 furlongs. The GALILEO gelding TORONTO was recently placed second over a 1m4f at Pontefract and has previously shown top class form as a two-year-old when placed second in the Group 3 Tyros Stakes.
Entries of interest with National Hunt and Point to Point form include James King’s HERMIN D’OUDAIRIES, a four-year-old MASTERSTROKE gelding who was placed third on his most recent start in a N.H. Bumper at Galway. SEVENOFUS, the five-year-old daughter of YEATS, won the 5&6yo mares Maiden Point to Point at Castletown-Geoghegan on 3rd October. Jackdaws Castle are set to offer the dual winner WASDELL DUNDALK who gained an official BHA hurdle rating 120, following a successful summer campaign.
