Tattersalls Ireland Ascot Yearling Sale

Further to the announcement in September 2016 that the historic Ascot venue will stage a new Yearling Sale on Tuesday 12th September 2017, Tattersalls Ireland are delighted to confirm that all lots offered at this new sale will be eligible to run in the £150,000 Tattersalls October Auction Stakes at Newmarket over 6 furlongs in October 2018.

The Ascot Sales have enjoyed record increases in 2016 with a top price of £180,000 for a Breeze Up two-year-old and the opportunity to sell yearlings at this unique venue is one which is sure to capture the imagination of vendors and 

Geographically Ascot is an ideal location for many vendors at this time of year while the September 12 date should also appeal to those with a forward, athletic yearling who would want to stand out in a sale where there will be no more than 170 yearlings offered for sale.

Nominations for the Ascot Yearling Sale and all yearling sales held by Tattersalls can be made online and inspections will be undertaken by the Tattersalls team of inspectors in the coming months.
